Precision machined and grinded reamer and jig to accommodate machining and pressing a new bushing for the O.D. servo pin guide bore of AOD-E and 4R70W transmissions. The tool consists of a reamer with guide, jig body, a bushing driver, jig pull-out helper, bushing extractor, 2 mounting brackets and bolts.

The overdrive servo pin of the AOD-E and 4R70W transmissions has the tendency to wear off the case bore causing the overdrive band and/or forward clutch to fail because of a circuit leak. This tool will enable the technician to make a permanent correction of the above mentioned failure by installing a precision machined bushing in the case bore which will have the original dimension it had prior to the wear, so the technician can use the original pin. The tool will benefit rebuilding professionals to eliminate this major problem with the transmission. The entire process of the machining of the bore and driving the bushing in it takes less than a minute. It will eliminate the need for "machine shop" services.
